Nonprofit Director Partner
Position Overview
The Nonprofit Director Partner will establish and lead Anonano's affiliated nonprofit organization, driving our mission to inspire the next generation of thought leaders through educational programs, research initiatives, and social good projects. This equity and board member position represents a unique opportunity to build a technology-focused nonprofit from inception.
You will be responsible for all aspects of the nonprofit's operations, including founding governance structure, securing 501(c)(3) status, grant writing, donor relations, program development, and community outreach. Your leadership will ensure the nonprofit complements our for-profit agency while maintaining independent mission-driven focus.
This role requires a passionate leader with deep nonprofit experience, fundraising expertise, and a commitment to using technology for social impact. You'll work with educational institutions, community organizations, and foundations to create meaningful programs that democratize access to emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Nonprofit Formation: Establish legal structure, obtain 501(c)(3) status, and develop governance frameworks and bylaws
- Strategic Planning: Define mission, vision, and strategic objectives for the nonprofit organization
- Fundraising Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategy including grants, individual donors, and corporate sponsorships
- Grant Writing: Research, write, and submit grant applications to foundations, government agencies, and philanthropic organizations
- Program Development: Design and implement educational programs, workshops, and research initiatives in emerging technologies
- Community Partnerships: Build relationships with schools, universities, community organizations, and underserved populations
- Volunteer Management: Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers to support nonprofit programs
- Impact Measurement: Establish metrics and reporting systems to demonstrate social impact and program effectiveness
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with nonprofit regulations, tax requirements, and ethical standards
Required Skills & Qualifications

Qualifications
- 8+ years of nonprofit leadership experience, preferably in education, STEM, or social impact sectors
- Proven track record raising $1M+ through grants, donations, and fundraising campaigns
- Experience founding or leading early-stage nonprofit organizations
- Deep understanding of 501(c)(3) regulations, compliance, and nonprofit governance
- Successful grant applications to major foundations (NSF, Gates Foundation, etc.)
- Strong network within philanthropic and educational communities
- Passion for technology education and democratizing access to emerging technologies
- Master's degree in Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or related field preferred
