Business Development Partner
Position Overview
As a founding Business Development Partner at Anonano, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the trajectory of our pre-launch agency. This equity and board member position offers you the opportunity to build a technology-forward company from the ground up, focusing on cutting-edge domains including quantum computing, AI, cybersecurity, and brain-computer interfaces.
You will be responsible for establishing our market presence, securing initial equity funding, identifying and closing strategic client contracts, and forging partnerships with industry leaders and academic institutions. Your entrepreneurial vision and business acumen will directly influence our growth strategy and market positioning.
This role requires a strategic thinker with proven experience in business development, fundraising, and partnership management within technology sectors. You'll work closely with the other three founding partners to build a sustainable, innovative agency committed to solving complex future-focused challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Business Development: Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies to establish Anonano as a leader in emerging technology solutions
- Equity Fundraising: Lead fundraising efforts to secure seed and Series A funding from venture capital firms, angel investors, and strategic partners
- Client Acquisition: Identify, qualify, and close high-value client contracts across government, enterprise, and research sectors
- Partnership Development: Forge strategic alliances with technology companies, academic institutions, and research organizations
- Market Positioning: Define market positioning, competitive differentiation, and go-to-market strategies for our specialized services
- Financial Planning: Collaborate on financial modeling, budgeting, and resource allocation decisions as a board member
- Stakeholder Relations: Represent Anonano at industry conferences, networking events, and investor meetings
- Revenue Strategy: Develop diversified revenue streams and pricing models for consulting, project-based, and product offerings
Required Skills & Qualifications

Qualifications
- 10+ years of business development experience, preferably in technology or consulting sectors
- Proven track record of securing $5M+ in funding or closing enterprise-level contracts ($500K+)
- Experience with startup or early-stage company growth (pre-launch through Series A)
- Deep understanding of technology markets, particularly emerging fields like AI, quantum computing, or cybersecurity
- Established network of investors, industry leaders, and potential clients
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
