Position Overview
Design statistical experiments, select appropriate models, and perform rigorous data analysis across diverse domains. Apply classical and Bayesian statistical methods to extract insights, test hypotheses, and quantify uncertainty in complex datasets.
Work with clients across research, healthcare, finance, and technology sectors to design experiments, analyze data, and communicate statistical findings effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Design experiments and sampling strategies for data collection
- Perform hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, and statistical inference
- Conduct regression analysis, ANOVA, and multivariate statistics
- Implement Bayesian statistical methods and probabilistic modeling
- Develop time series analysis and forecasting models
- Apply causal inference techniques and experimental design
- Perform power analysis and sample size calculations
- Create statistical reports and visualizations for stakeholders
- Validate machine learning models and assess statistical significance
- Consult with clients on statistical methodology and interpretation

Qualifications

- Strong communication skills for explaining complex statistics
- Publications in statistical or domain-specific journals preferred
- Experience consulting across multiple industries
